Our Camera Shy Houseguest

i know she hates her picture taken and shown, but i think she is beautiful, so hopefully, she won't get too mad at me!

aunt jen and krista brought nana down with them for a visit in august.  she stayed with us, but hung out with them while i was at work and the kids were at school.  one day, i took off and we went to savannah and rode the trolley tour bus.  it was hot, but fun! 

we went out to dinner one night too

the kids loved having her here, so did guido!

Randomness

one day, when we were in savannah for roman's soccer games, we went to the mall for lunch during their break, and gianna bought matching kitty cats and bracelets for herself and her friend gracie...so cute!

gianna takes showers now, so that's a thing. 

take it easy, guido.  i wouldn't want you to worry about anything...

have i mentioned that this one loves cheese?  any kind of cheese.  flat cheese, stick cheese, shredded cheese, cheese dip and the latest...parmesan cheese on her meatballs and pasta!  she always spreads her noodles out so that every last one can be covered in cheese.  for some odd reason, she was picking up her noodles with her fingers.  i guess it was so she could get cheese on her fingers and then lick it off. 

guido loves cuddling with the kiddos.  he's just a little snuggle bug.  a snuggle bug with bug eyes.  :)

Savannah Bananas

a few weeks ago, right before school started, we got a chance to head down and see the savannah bananas in a playoff game.  our friends, sherri and greg brought their kiddos and we picked some awesome seats down the first base line.  it was hot and muggy, but there were snacks and some fun antics from the mascot, split!  we will definitely be going again!

Soccer Sweetie

we found out that gianna's friend, emma, would be in a different dance class than we were able to attend, so i gave her the option of trying something different and she immediately opted for soccer.  we signed her up for a rec team and they start next saturday!  she couldn't be more excited.  and of course, we had to buy all the pink soccer accessories!  her older brother has already taught her to put that elbow out and make sure she doesn't get pushed around.  hopefully, she isn't the one doing the pushing! 

All - Star Party

after the all-star season ended in july, we all went our separate ways...vacationing, relaxing, missing our baseball buddies, not knowing what to do with all our free time...

alas, coach jason had some all-star fun left up his sleeve and brought us all back together for a nice night at the hampton lake pool.  i'm not sure who was more excited to hang out...the kids or the parents!?

the boys picked up right where they left off and were running around like crazy people jumping into the pool!

after a while, we all ate and then coach jason announced that he would be giving out some trophies. 

he said some really nice things about each player and presented them with these 2 foot tall beasts!

i made some cupcakes for the boys and put an action shot on top...

of course, i chose our favorite shot of roman...horns up!

he loved it.  of course, he licked the icing and then gave me the rest.  just what i wanted, a spit covered cupcake....thanks!

it was so fun to get back together one more time before school started.  i love all these boys...they are so fun!
